One sheet of Bristol Board Paper, Smooth, 6 x 9 or larger  (Smooth texture is much easier to work with than vellum)

Prismacolor pencils:  You can purchase the small set of 12 or pick the individual colors listed below if you prefer.
All of the colors listed are in the set of 12 with the addition of a red and purple that you won't use in the class. (Also note, if you have any problem finding a particular color it is fine to substitute with a similar color.):
