See the list in the right margin. And the Artists Round Table is busy planning an Art Party on June's first Friday, June 6th from 5 - 8 p.m. Drop by to visit! We are also planning on a variety of refreshments, a Make-and-Take table for all ages, and music. It will be a lovely evening! Posted 4/2/2025 April is full of class offerings and I just added an in person color pencil class on April 15th that I had originally thought to postpone this month. But Bees and Flowers are a fun theme! In Zoom Class we will create bunnies and giraffes in color pencil, and Spring Flowers Sketching in the Hour Zoom Sketch class. I've also begun a three session class for advanced students so that we might work on larger and more intricate pieces together. Can't wait to get drawing and coloring in class! Look forward in May to an extra Zoom class in colored pencil mixed mediums. The in person "new products" class has been so much fun I would love to share this with my Zoom students also! Posted 2/21/2025 A few new classes coming up this spring! I will be offering Watercolor Brush Pens in March in the new medium class and also a free Saturday color pencil class at Sweet Ridge Studios. See the class list in the right Margin for more information. Posted 1/28/2025 I've been playing with the live feature on TikTok and having fun interacting with viewers there. I have enjoyed posting artwork (and occasional updates on my pets) and have had the capability to "go live" for some time. But I am just now bringing the camera into my studio so people can watch me work. It is really an interesting dynamic and it provides me a little bit of critique as I work as well. People are curious so I also can answer some questions about colored pencil and technique. My TikTok handle is @ArtistSandraD if you want to peek and perhaps catch me live. FUN WITH COLORED PENCILS AT THE COMFORT CABIN
June 7th, 2025 2 - 4 p.m.
In this step by step class we will practice various techniques such as blending and impressed lines to create a beautiful fox drawing. This class is appropriate for all levels of experience as Sandra will provide demonstrations and individual input as you color your artwork. In this relaxed setting you will create a beautiful artwork all your own.
