A few new classes coming up this spring! I will be offering Watercolor Brush Pens in March in the new medium class and also a free Saturday color pencil class at Sweet Ridge Studios. See the class list in the right Margin for more information.

I've been playing with the live feature on TikTok and having fun interacting with viewers there. I have enjoyed posting artwork (and occasional updates on my pets) and have had the capability to "go live" for some time. But I am just now bringing the camera into my studio so people can watch me work. It is really an interesting dynamic and it provides me a little bit of critique as I work as well. People are curious so I also can answer some questions about colored pencil and technique.

I currently have a few shorts from TikTok loaded there and I will add more content each week including some tutorials in color pencil, acrylic, oil pastel, and other fun mediums I hope to present to my students this year. Subscribe to me on YouTube at:

And I am busy putting together February class offerings. I plan to include a few more Zoom classes as well as a "Try A New Medium" class where we will look at a fun (and affordable) medium each month to experiment with. This is a fun way to expand your creativity and enjoy creating by focusing more on the medium and it's possibilities than the finished product. Not to say you won't create some masterpieces in this class time. ;-)
