Although I normally do not offer classes through the month of December I am planning at least one Zoom Color Pencil Class per request. This will likely be a Thursday night but I'll post it soon.
Otherwise I am preparing class offerings for the new year in January and am excited to include an Oil Pastel class as well as more than one Zoom Color Pencil Class per month.
Check back soon for the specific dates in the right margin or look forward to the information in my next Newsletter coming up this week. (If you would like to be added to my Newsletter email list please contact me at sdavis@adsnart.com)

I also had the pleasure of hanging artwork at Singularity Tatoo here in Wheat Ridge as part of their "Nightmare On 38th Avenue" art show. There are more shows just around the corner and you can find more infomation about them by clicking here.
I also will be teaching through November but normally take December off for family time. The week before Thanksgiving is packed with class offerings so take a look!

The Carnation Festival was exciting and fun, and I won third place in the Wheat Ridge Art League's Art Show with my drawing of the Street Musician in Verona (to the right). I often strive to produce drawings of things or events that bring joy and this drawing reminds me so much of the trip to Verona - heartfelt and magical accordion music produced by the weathered and interesting man. Something simple bringing joy that can be drawn on over and over through time in memory.

Surely he knew the music he produced brought joy to others as well as himself! Naturally it is not just the music though, it is the setting and all senses - the sight of him, sound of the music, smell of summer air and food vendors, warmth of the sunlight, and much more. It's lovely that an image can bring all of those senses back to mind!
